feeling cardThese are big circle-shaped cards. It seems small kids like my own three-year-girl prefer this round shape and big size to the usual cards. If your learner is not as young, go to the "Feelings ( Why do you feel that way?) section.
The animals and children pictured here show their feelings of some kind, and each one is wearing something special, so these cards can be used depending on individual learning levels.
First of all, I recommend using only the picture cards, starting withe simple games such as card matching.
Each picture card has a text card which describes their situation for the card taking game. Because pronouns are used instead of nouns, Your kids cannot start searching for the card until they hear the name of the creature ( bear, rabbit, boy,,,,)
But your student can guess what card they should take while you are reading the text, If your kids know how to describe the animals expression, or know the names of the things they wear in English.
But If they can't guess from the description, please say the name...!
It also can be played like Menko.
If you don't know How to play the MENKO, Please refer to other web sites such as WIKIPEDIA
I have been planning to update the Japanese text version soon.
so if you are interested in that, go to the "games for small kids" page. One thing I have to remind you about it is that the text in Japanese there is different from the meaning of the text in English here!
as an extra bonus
I put girls dressed like "cure peach and cure passsion of the Prettey cure". This animation is really really popular with young Japanese girls. Some girls have the costumes of their favorite characters and dress up like them. so if your student is a small girl, try to bring this extra card,,,!! And ask them something about it when you have a litle time left... or try mixing in with thea cards here.....!!
